Quigley and the Lost Sorrow

Quigley de Sade, a young girl living in a large, creaky vicarage, is struggling to cope with the recent loss of her mother. Her father has become distant and absorbed in his work, while the housekeeper, Bella, has taken on a maternal role. Quigley's best friend, Trinity, is also drifting away, leaving her feeling isolated and lonely.

However, she soon discovers she has a magical ability. The newfound power frightens and confuses her, meanwhile, she is haunted by the presence of a menacing crow that watches her every move.

One day, Quigley encounters Ichabod, a strange, troll-like figure who reveals that he can help her understand and control her magic. As she learns from Ichabod, Quigley uncovers hidden secrets about her family's past and the true nature of her powers. All too soon, Quigley must confront the dark forces that threaten to unravel her world.
