Longview Legacy

What are your family's oldest, deepest secrets? Do you know or would you be surprised to discover them? Estranged twin sisters Beth and Emily are reunited by their dying aunt's unexpected and unusual last request, which calls them back to their small hometown of Harmony, Georgia. Longview, the old plantation house and their family home for generations, becomes the background where the sisters are forced to confront, not only their differences and personal history, but also a dangerous, long-hidden family secret. As they complete this last favor for their beloved Aunt Liz, they uncover a hidden basement room at Longview, together with old documents and family treasures that tell a story they could never have imagined. Coming face-to-face with this 150-year-old secret teaches them both lessons about life, their heritage, and the unstoppable power of what seems to be an 'impossible' love. This 'novel within a novel' brings deeper understanding to all of us about what it really means to be a family, and how our personal and family decisions make us the person we are.
