Michael Elliott has a well-established plan for his career. "The Plan" entails undergraduate studies, a law degree, and then a return home to Charleston as a Broad Street Lawyer.

As fate would have it, however, "The Plan" morphs into an unpredictably successful journey of work that includes landing an accidental job at Procter & Gamble, stumbling upon an Inc. 500 health care start-up, riding the Dot Com boom and bust, and racing through the commercial explosion of NASCAR.

Along the way, Michael encounters a collection of colorful characters including temperamental fashion models, backstabbing corporate politicos, memorable business partners, frenzied venture capitalists, and the titans of motor sports, all while making workplace friendships that must stand the test of time and trauma.

At its heart, Cubicle Tales is a breezy collection of true stories of one man's Forrest Gump-like work experience in which the power of enduring friendships, the heartbreak of betrayal, the struggle of work-life balance, and the essence of what really defines a successful career all materialize within the cubicle.
