Something of an Ordinary Life

Goblins and centaurs and dwarves. Oh, my! Harreth Windborn had it all: good looks, money, fame, and next in line for a big promotion at Panacea Mutual Insurance. Hell, he even knew a little magic. How is anyone supposed to compete with that? Especially when all you are is plain old human. Elves get all the breaks, but things started turning around for Wally Wilson when he met Aellethia Silverwing, an internationally famous supermodel. Sure, she was an elf, and to Wally's dismay, she was interested in him. Dating an elf of her notoriety came with its perks: invites to private parties, not needing reservations at fancy restaurants and access to exclusive clubs. It was a new and exciting world for Wally. For the first time, his life was anything but ordinary. But he feared his newfound status wouldn't last, and he'd do just about anything to hold on to it.
