In the course of the past years, the author has felt an imperative to start a new chapter of poetic discourse. This discourse is meant to counter and resist the anonymity of social media and numerous public institutions of today. This volume, To Rehumanize, is an antidote, a treatment prescribed by a worried doctor about our ailing human relations. Facing each other with patience and peace is difficult when many social, economic and technological impositions are undermining some of our social instincts. "Rehumanize" is an allegory for staying together, facing another face and not running away or fearing each other. Revisiting the old practice of facing each other would make it morally or physically more difficult to dispose of others. It would be one prescription in expanding human dignity. Many thoughts and themes have been woven into this project within four separate sections: Dystopia, Resistance, The Other Side of Your World, and Rehumanize. These poems have arisen out of a need to provide perspective and solutions and to provide a gateway into an expanded human universe.
