Keenan Green must learn how to navigate the dating world after spending his entire adult life in two long term relationships. Now forty, he still believes that somewhere out there is "the one." His search for her will take him through a roller coaster of exhilarating highs with unforeseen or chartered devastating lows. Potential lovers become enemies, trust is lost, honor is forgotten. While fishing for love, Keenan struggles to hold onto his integrity, trying to learn from his mistakes, leaning on God to keep his sense of self in the process. Keenan surely discovers that it is not easy to be a single Black male looking for love, but keeps the hunt exciting for himself in the process. Keenan won't rest until he finds her, but in this pond with a plethora of women to fish, quality is sadly sacrificed for quantity. Keenan discovers that his biggest obstacle needs to be solved within himself, knowing when to throw them back versus when to take them home.
