Silent Spirit (The Spiritualist Saga, Book 1)

After a tragedy took Avalyn's parents, the royal family of Atalu raised her alongside the crown princess. Grateful for their aid, Avalyn has sworn to serve them until her dying day, even if doing so means she must hide her natural powers forever.

When someone is murdered during the yearly Harvest Festival, the infuriatingly cocky but attractive noble Kieran Myst comes forth as a witness. Recognizing in him powers that mirror her own, Avalyn finds herself not trusting his intentions.

Her instincts prove true when a member of the royal family disappears - and their noble guest alongside them. In her pursuit of the lost royal, secrets unravel, magical lessons are learned, and Avalyn finds herself falling for the arrogant noble.

Suddenly, Avalyn finds herself torn between two sides of a looming war and must choose - obey past promises or break them and follow her heart.
