Murder on the Musical Mystery Tour: A Band Director Mystery Book Three

College band director Jill O'Neill and her band have been invited to tour Europe in conjunction with her colleague (and vampire) Johannes Brahms' invitation to debut his latest symphony in Vienna. The locations are all secret and the expenses are all paid by a mysterious benefactor.

Lost luggage, drunken college kids, and all-out shopping sprees for stuffed animal attire are but a few of the headaches Jill has to deal with. Brahms' officious public relations manager is jealously guarding Brahms against Jill, Jill's graduate assistant and the tour guide are having strange midnight arguments, and Jill's husband Sheriff's Detective Jack O'Neill is back home investigating why the woman who was involved in a hit and run accident with Jill is seen coming out of an airport restroom, the site of a brutal murder on the day that Jill and the band fly to Europe.

The murder of a revenant (think Dracula's Renfield) at one of Europe's biggest tourist attractions gets Interpol involved. Jill feels that the answers to the various mysteries are there in front of her if she can just sit still long enough to think things through. Alas, Jill, Jack (who has flown over courtesy of Interpol), and the band are kept busy and distracted by performances and sightseeing.

When Jill does figure it out she is confronted by a most formidable foe who not only threatens her existence but that of Brahms as well.
