Mail Order Bride: The Spirit of Christmas

Sadie Nadler has been living with her sister's family ever since her husband died suddenly, leaving her alone and with an infant daughter he never got to meet. Though her sister has assured her she can stay with them as long as she likes, Sadie is determined to make her own life for herself and her child. When she receives an offer from Paul Sauk to come to Iowa as his mail order bride, she decides to take the chance, and soon finds herself heading West to meet her new future.

But it seems fate has other trials in mind for Sadie. When she arrives in Maple Junction, she learns that Paul Sauk has died. Alone and frightened for her future, Sadie is grateful when Sheriff Brian Aston offers to take them in for a few days. Burdened with the weight of his own tragedy, the sheriff is a good and generous man, and Sadie begins to feel her heart open to him.
